Bio:

Professor Collins received a B.S. from St. John’s University and an M.B.A. from Hofstra University.

Currently at Hofstra University, Professor Collins holds the position of Associate Director of Athletic Facilities.  Before coming to Hofstra, he was employed as the Events/Operations Manager at Manhattan Center Studios and the Hammerstein Ballroom. His experience in the field of Event management began at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum where he served in a number of roles including Event Service Manager and Director of Parking Operations.

Professor Collins has more than 20 years of practical and applied experience in all aspects of facility, event, and entertainment management.  

He is a member of the International Association of Venue Managers.
