Bio: Research Interests: Computational Chemistry
Computational studies of pedagogically interesting organic molecules and proteins of unusual sequences. Potential projects include prediction of protein tertiary structures based on genes that are never used to make proteins, organic compounds that bind to insulin receptors but are not proteins, organic molecules with longer bonds than have ever yet been discovered, etc. Just because it cannot be made in the lab does not mean we cannot calculate its properties!
