Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in accounting from Baruch College, the City University of New York. He earned degrees of MBA with Distinction and MS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a certified public accountant in South Korea. He worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen and as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers before pursuing a career in academia.
His research interests include financial reporting, voluntary disclosures and auditing. He has presented his research at different conferences including American Accounting Associations Annual meeting, FARS and International Accounting sectional meetings.
Prior to coming to Hofstra University, he taught courses of Managerial and Financial accounting at Baruch College of the City University of New York.
