Bio:

Donald W. Doller joined the staff at Hofstra in spring 2007 as an adjunct instructor. A Long Island native, he received a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Forensic Science (1986) from the University of Central Florida. His forensic career began with an internship in the spring of 1986 at the Suffolk County Crime Lab. After 22 years, Mr. Doller is currently the Trace Evidence Section supervisor and the coordinator of the Crime Scene Response Unit of the Suffolk County Crime Lab. He completed his master’s thesis in the area of bloodstain pattern analysis and received an M.S. in Forensic Science from Pace University in 2007. Mr. Doller’s forensic concentrations are in the areas of trace evidence, impression evidence and crime scene reconstruction. He has had the opportunity to lecture and instruct in these areas at numerous forensic conferences. He currently teaches FOR 101: Crime Scene Investigation Methods.
