Dr. Lisa M. Dresner is the author of The Female Investigator in Literature, Film, and Popular Culture (McFarland, 2007). Her research interests include composition pedagogy, the rhetoric of popular culture, LGBT studies, and women’s studies. Her current research involves using popular culture in the composition classroom.
