Bio:
Professor Weisel is a graduate of Queens College where she received a B.A. and an M.S. She received a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. Professor Weisel is admitted to practice in New York State courts, the federal courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts, the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.
Professor Weisel has had many articles published. Her most recent article appeared in the Southwest California School of Law Law Review. Other recent articles include “Equitable Estoppel in Family Law” (New York State Bar Association Journal, 1998), “Prenuptial Agreements in Estate Planning” and “Equitable Estoppel and Paternity” (Nassau Lawyer, 1997 and 1996, respectively). Earlier articles were published in The Woman CPA, The CPA Journal, Labor Law Journal, Arbitration Journal, and the Journal of Law and Psychiatry.
Professor Weisel has presented papers at a number of conferences. She presented papers on “Attention Deficit Disorder at the Workplace” at the National Association of Disability Analysts in 1999 and 2000.
Most recently she participated as a speaker at the European Conference of Psychology and Law presenting a paper on ethics in law and psychology.
