Bio:

Professor Hardiman earned a baccalaureate of electrical engineering degree at Manhattan College. Subsequently, he earned a master of science in applied sciences at Adelphi University, a master of science in industrial management at Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, and a professional diploma in educational administration at St. John's University.

Professor Hardiman's business experience includes several years as senior engineer at Fairchild Camera in the area of digital systems design. He was associate director of engineering for Radio Engineering Laboratories and has acted as a consultant to Airborne Instruments Laboratories in the area of systems integration of real-time military aircraft tracking systems. He is the president of Island Logistic Systems Corporation, a telecommunications and computer networking enterprise.

In the academic arena he began the data processing instructional program at BOCES II for both the day and evening vocational programs. During his tenure at BOCES, he was facilities administrator for three vocational satellite centers and director of vocational education management information systems. He was a tenured associate professor at the State University of New York at Farmingdale in the CIS division of the School of Business.

Professor Hardiman was technical editor for Delmar Publishers and consulted in the area of publication and editing of data processing textbooks. He possesses NOVELL CNE certification.
