Bio:

Dr. Russell T. Harrison is the author of Against the American Dream: Essays on Charles Bukowski ( Black Sparrow Press, 1994) , and Patricia Highsmith ( Twayne, 1997).  He is completing a book on Thomas Bernhard which will be published in 2012 by Peter Lang.  Dr. Harrison’s research interests include the rhetoric of translation and the economics of composition instruction.
