Bio:

Katrina Fischer Kuh graduated summa cum laude from Yale University in 1997 and returned to Yale for law school, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law and Policy Review. After graduating from the Yale Law School in 2002, Professor Kuh served as a law clerk to Judge Charles S. Haight of the District Court for the Southern District of New York (2002-2003) and Judge Diana Gribbon Motz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (2003-2004).

Prior to joining the Hofstra faculty in 2007, Professor Kuh worked in the environmental and litigation practice groups in the New York office of Arnold & Porter LLP. Her practice included defending smart growth zoning against constitutional challenges and assisting clients in the negotiation and implementation of complex site remediation. She previously served as an advisor on natural resource policy in the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate.

Professor Kuh's research and writing focus on legislative and regulatory processes, with an emphasis on environmental policy. She will teach Torts in Fall 2007. Professor Kuh is an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and currently serves on the Land Use Planning & Zoning Committee and as Secretary to the Committee on International Environmental Law.
