Bio:

Ms. Lavacca joined Hofstra University as an Adjunct Professor in 2007. Ms. Lavacca was with Cushman & Wakefield for ten years as a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Division. She was responsible for arranging debt and equity real estate related financings for Cushman’s corporate clients. She has executed transactions in excess of $6 billion. 

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Lavacca was an Investment Manager at Alliance Capital Management for three and a half years, where she managed a one billion dollar limited partnership investment portfolio.  Prior to joining Alliance Capital, she worked as an Asset Manager at Prudential Securities Inc. on real estate limited partnerships for five and a half years.

Ms. Lavacca received an MBA in Finance from Pace University and a BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
