Hofstra to Host Transfer Days for Spring 2013 Enrollment

Transfer to Hofstra – A Move in the Right Direction

Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY – Interested in transferring to Hofstra University this spring? Then be sure to attend one of our upcoming events especially created for transfer students. 

Hofstra Transfer Days are held weekly throughout the month of January, with the next events taking place:

Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
(9-11 a.m. — Exclusive enrollment hours for Nassau Community College students)


Friday, January 11, 2013 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
(9-11 a.m. — Exclusive enrollment hours for Suffolk County Community College student)

Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

 

At a Transfer Day you will be able to:

·    Receive an admission decision on the spot once you submit a transfer application (the application fee is even waived!)

·    Receive a preliminary transfer credit evaluation and then meet with one of our Academic Advisement Deans to discuss the applicability of your transfer credits and intended major

·    Register for classes! Take advantage of the opportunity to choose the schedule you want and need.

·    Talk to Financial Aid Counselors and explore the possibility of scholarship opportunities.

 
Please remember to bring transcripts from all colleges or universities attended since high school (may be unofficial). We want you see for yourself our beautiful campus and learn more about all of the incredible opportunities that Hofstra has to offer you both inside the classroom and out.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is open Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (summer hours) and Saturday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
