Hofstra University Included in Fiske Guide to Colleges 2013
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY… The Fiske Guide announced that Hofstra University will be included in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2013 (ISBN: 9781402209635; JULY 2012) by Edward B. Fiske. The book features more than 300 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain.
“We are proud to be included in this year’s Fiske Guide once again. This guide provides an independent review of colleges to help prospective students and their parents make solid decisions about their higher education goals. We know that Hofstra is a great place to earn your degree, but it helps when an outside source concurs with our belief.” -Sunil Samuel, Director of Admission, Hofstra University
For more than 25 years, students and their families have looked to The Fiske Guide to Colleges to help make the most intelligent educational investment they can. Information in this independent college guide book includes student body, academics, social life, and financial aid.
About the Author
Edward B. Fiske served for 17 years as Education Editor of The New York Times, during which time he realized that college-bound students and their families needed better information on which to base their educational choices. He wrote The Fiske Guide to Colleges to help them.
