Dr. David Michael Green, Associate Professor of Political Science

Dr. Green teaches courses on American politics, international relations, European politics, American foreign policy, comparative politics and presents an on-site workshop each year at the United Nations. He has written scholarly articles and edited volume chapters, and is completing The Europeans, a book on political identity in Europe, to be published in 2006 by Lynne Rienner Publishers.

Dr. Green is a frequent contributor of political commentary in both print and electronic form. He has made numerous radio and television appearances, including regular 30 or 60-minute interviews on Michigan's statewide "Tony Trupiano Show", and national appearances on "ABC World News Now" and Business Talk Radio. He has been quoted in The New York Times. His work is regularly featured on the Common Dreams Web site (www.commondreams.org), among others, and he has developed a devoted following for his columns.

Professor Green is available both for dispassionate, analytical commentary on politics and government, or for the articulate and factually substantiated expression of progressive political ideas and critiques.
