She has had articles published in such publications as the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Advances in Taxation, and Advances in Working Capital Management.

Dr. Lyn has been a finance officer at the United Nations in New York and served on a foreign assignment in Bangladesh. She has also worked for Integrated Resources, Inc. and Smith Barney Shearson, and has done consulting work for various companies. Dr. Lyn is involved in various local and international community services. She is currently on the board of the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union and the Global ShareResource Foundation.
