Psychology – taking classes in counseling, enjoying facilitating for student and making a difference.

I enjoy working with student in a negative situation and making it a positive, same day responses.

What general advice or information about your department/services would you give students?
I would advise students to read their Hofstra pride email for deadlines and important dates, grant authorized access to anyone who is helping pay their bill, and keep in contact with Student Financial Services during the semester. Each student is assigned a personal counselor to help them during their time at Hofstra, it’s important for students to touch base with their counselor especially if they make any changes to their schedule during a semester.
What general advice about college life would you give students?
Learn to find the right balance between your academics and your social life so you get the most out of the college experience.
Best Hofstra memory:
It was a hectic time when I joined the Hofstra team. My coworkers assisted greatly is learning, handling and teaching me how to take care of our students. My colleagues showed me how to work as my own and handle any situation – we are a real team.

What have you found as your “Purpose” here on campus?
I’ve found my purpose on campus is to help students and their families through the process of financial aid and registration. Also to be a familiar face to help with any questions or concerns the student body may have.
