Favorite (short) Hofstra story:

What do you take the most “pride” in?
I find my pride in the athletics community here. Being so far away from home, the people in the athletics program have become my family and the fields my home. I remember my first year on the team when we came back from a losing game and won semifinals. The bus trip back with coaches singing and teammates dancing on the bus … I felt like I was where I belonged.
What have you found as your “purpose”?
I brought a unique aspect to the team. The knowledge and appreciation I have for soccer, being from Europe, gave my teammates a different view of the sport that they all love so much. Oh, and apparently I am talented – or so I’m told.
