Bibliography of Research Studies in Education, 1926-1940,

This four-volume set is a comprehensive bibliographic guide to educational
research studies published from 1926 to 1940. Originally the Bibliography
of Research Studies in Education was a major serial publication issued
by the United States Office of Education. There are 47,866 entries, most of
which are annotated, in a classified list with author and subject indexes,
and with an index of participating institutions in each issue.

Although this bibliography is no longer up to date, it still provides access
to relevant sources. The more than 700 print and non-print sources are described
and some annotations are evaluative.
