Test Reviews and Research Studies in Journal Articles

Journal Indexes/Abstracts databases are good sources of test information. Research studies using particular tests, scales or inventories with descriptive or critical comments are published in many journals. Sometimes sample questions from an instrument or a copy of a survey or an inventory will be included in an article.

Perform a keyword search in electronic databases such as ERIC, Education Abstracts, and PsycINFO. Use the truncation or wildcard symbol (?) to retrieve variations of the word. For example: adolescen? would retrieve adolescence, adolescent, etc.

For example:

gifted and test?
gifted and (inventor? or survey? or test?)
