This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and

are now 1845 journals in the directory. Currently 456 journals are searchable
at article level. More than 79,582 articles are included in the DOAJ service.

Collection of over 23,000 electronic books in all disciplines from top
publishers. Includes sophisticated customization tools such as highlighting,

ERIC
ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is sponsored by the Institute
of Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education. Established
in 1966, the database consists of two files: Resources in Education (RIE)
file of document citations and the Current Index to Journals in Education
(CIJE) file of journal article citations from hundreds of professional
journals. In recent years, ERIC has undergone considerable change. The
operation of the database has become more streamlined and far more articles
as well as recent ERIC documents are available full text.

Mental Measurements Yearbook, produced by the Buros Institute, contains

PsycINFO(R) contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book
chapters, books, and technical reports, as well as citations to dissertations,
all in the field of psychology and psychological aspects of related disciplines,
such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology,
physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law. Journal coverage,
spanning 1887-present, includes international material selected from more
than 1,300 periodicals written in over 25 languages. Current chapter and
book coverage includes worldwide English-language material published from
1987-present. Over 55,000 references are added annually through regular
updates.

SPORTDiscus is an international database provided by SIRC (Sport Information
Resource Centre). The database contains information on the following:
sports medicine, exercise physiology, biomechanics, psychology, training
techniques, coaching, physical education, physical fitness, active living,
recreation, history, facilities and equipment.
Databases for ChildrenEBSCO Animals
Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.
Infotrac Junior
This junior edition of Infotrac is designed for students on the K-12 level and provides access to popular magazines, newspapers and reference sources. Many of the articles are available full text and many of the magazines are designed for young people. While the target audience is the student, this could prove very helpful to classroom teachers in planning research assignments.
MAS Ultra
Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database provides full text nearly 600 popular general interest and current events publications with information dating back as far as 1975 for key magazines. MAS Ultra - School Edition also provides more than 500 full text pamphlets, 268 full text reference books, 84,606 biographies, 88,463 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
Primary Search
Primary Search provides full text for more than 60 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost.
TOPICsearch
This current events database allows researchers to explore social, political & economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics discussed in today's classrooms. TOPICsearch contains full text for over 78,000 articles from more than 3,000 diverse sources, including more than 1,550 full text periodicals.
