The Hofstra University Library Undergraduate Library Research Award was established in 1997 by the Library faculty to recognize and reward excellence in research and writing by a graduating senior.
All papers are nominated by the faculty member for whom the paper was written, and read carefully by a faculty selection committee. The award includes a one thousand dollar check from the Provost's Office and the Library, a gift certificate for $250 from Barnes & Noble, and publication of the paper on the library's website.
Past winners have come from the Department of Fine Arts, History, Music, Political Science, and Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences.
