Hofstra University Library: Undergraduate Library Research Award (logo)

The Hofstra University Library Undergraduate Library Research Award was established in 1997 by the Library faculty to recognize and reward excellence in research and writing by a graduating senior.

All papers are nominated by the faculty member for whom the paper was written, and read carefully by a faculty selection committee. The award includes a one thousand dollar check from the Provost's Office and the Library, a gift certificate for $250 from Barnes & Noble, and publication of the paper on the library's website.

Past winners have come from the Department of Fine Arts, History, Music, Political Science, and Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences.

Following is a list of all past winners, along with this year's recipient and those individuals whose work deserved honorable mention.

2008 Winner: Jessica Knobler
