This site reflects the interdisciplinary
nature of Women's Studies and contains selected sources that highlight
women's contributions to the humanities, social sciences, and
the natural sciences. In addition, it identifies sources that focus on gender
issues, sexuality, women of color, the role of women in the family,
feminist theory, and the history of the women's movement.

Finding Articles
The
Axinn Library provides over one hundred online databases containing citations

scholarly journals which includes coverage from Volume I, Issue 1, up
to a "moving wall" ranging from 3-5 years prior to the present

humanities, social sciences, and mathematics. Hofstra University licenses
the Johns Hopkins University Press journals only.

Contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book
chapters, books, and technical reports, as well as citations to dissertations,
all in the field of psychology and psychological aspects of related disciplines,
such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology,
physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law.
