New to Campus
Lori Brenner, full-time teacher aid, joined the Diane Lindner-Goldberg
Child Care Institute at the Saltzman Community Services Center in January
and loves it. “Where else can you go to work and get hugs from 10 adorable
toddlers?” Prior to working at Hofstra she spent a year and a half teaching
at the Huntington Learning Center. She completed her undergraduate degree
at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and currently lives in Long Beach.
Stefanie Kenney, part-time teacher aid, joined the Diane
Lindner-Goldberg Child Care Institute in February. She is a graduate student
at Hofstra pursuing her master’s in elementary education. Prior to teaching
at CCI, Stefanie completed her undergraduate work at Hofstra in May 2005 and
was a member of the Softball team, which last spring set a school record with
43 wins, while winning its eighth consecutive conference tournament title.
Stefanie says the best part of working as a teachers aid at Hofstra is “the
kids, seeing them smile and laugh.” She currently lives in Levittown.
