New to Campus
Linda Hamilton, assistant coach, women’s soccer, joined
the Hofstra Athletic Department in April. Linda is returning to the collegiate
coaching profession for the first time since she was the head coach of the
Old Dominion Women's Soccer team in 1994. At the time, she was also active
as a player with the United States National team (she was a member of the
1991 U.S. World Cup Champions), and decided that she couldn't juggle both
roles effectively. “Now that my playing days are over, I am really looking
forward to getting back into coaching again, and it is a great opportunity
for me to join a winning program like Hofstra,” she said.
