Arianne Romeo, Director of Commuting Student Affairs, graduated with her Bachelors Degree in 1999 from Hofstra University and started working as a graduate assistant in Student Leadership and Activities. In 2000, she became the Assistant Director and earned her Masters Degree in Counseling in December 2002. In 2004, the idea for an office of commuting students was developed and she was selected to be the Director. The office officially opened in September 2005 and has been growing ever since!

Jaclyn Congello, Assistant Director, is the newest member of the Commuting Student Affairs team! Jaclyn completed her B.A. in Psychology from Stony Brook University in May of 2006. During her undergraduate career, Jaclyn acted as a vital advocate and voice for commuting students while working in the Office of Commuter Student Services. Presently, Jaclyn is working toward an M.A. in Foundations of Education through the Foundations, Leadership and Policy Studies Program at Hofstra. In the office, Jaclyn's goal is to ensure that the commuter population is actively involved on campus and gets the most out of their college experience.

Catherine Daguanno known as "Mrs. D", is the Senior Executive Secretary in the Commuting Student Affairs office located in Room 221 in the Student Center. She thoroughly enjoys her interaction with commuter students.





Farrah Stuber

Farrah Stuber, Student Assistant in Commuting Student Affairs is an Elementary Education and Psychology major at the Hofstra University Honors College. This year Farrah will serve as the Vice President of the Organization of Commuting Students (OCS). Farrah hopes to encourage her fellow commuting peers to be active voices in campus life.
