All students will be housed together in one residence hall for the duration of the program (regardless of whether they plan to live on campus or commute during the fall) in order to facilitate the goal of group interaction, programming, and discussion. Students will be housed in a double room and their roommate will be randomly assigned. If two program participants wish to room together, both people must indicate this on their registration form.
To prevent fall residential students from having to move all of their belongings twice, they will be permitted to move the majority of their things into their permanent fall residence hall room at the start of the program on Saturday, August 27, 2011, between the hours of 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Students should then pack a small bag to bring to their Discovery Program room, with just the things they will need for the few days of the program. Residential students will return to their permanent fall housing at the conclusion of the program.
Please see the below timeline for the complete moving process:
Move-In (Saturday, August 27th)
Move-Back (Wednesday, August 31st)
