Game Room

The Game Room features:
3 Televisions (with PS3, Xbox 360, & Wii)
2 Pool Tables
2 Ping-Pong Tables
2 Air Hockey Table
2 Foosball Table
1 Arcade Game

As part of the services offered to students, the Game Room provides comfortable, modern  furniture and state-of-the-art equipment and games, making it the perfect place to relax with friends, eat lunch, work on homework, or simply unwind during a busy day.  Any group can reserve the Game Room for meetings or events, but the room will always stay open to the entire Hofstra community even when reserved.

There will always be a staff member (Hofstra student) on duty while the Game Room is open. Any person wanting to enter needs to be a Hofstra student and have a valid Hofstra ID to swipe in and/or take out any equipment.

Programs are implemented throughout the semester including video game tournaments, ping-pong/pool tournaments and workshops. Prizes for these events have included a new video iPod, mall gift certificates, and bookstore gift cards.  Groups are encouraged to utilize the space to host events such as these or any other meeting, fundraiser, or program.  Snacks can be served at every gaming event.
