Get Involved
Student Leadership and Activities believes the best way to make the most of your college experience is to get involved. We offer a variety of ways for you to accomplish this. We have over 200 clubs and organizations on campus, ranging from academic clubs to sports clubs and if we do not have a club that suits your interest, you can always create one. In addition, we have 25 Greek Organizations on campus to help improve your social network and to develop your leadership skills. If you have an interest in working with various student clubs and Hofstra administration, then the Student Government Association (SGA) is for you. We even have Spirit Support Teams to enhance the Hofstra pride on campus. There is something for everyone at Hofstra, so make the most of your time here.In addition, the Office of Student Leadership and Activities, provides services designed to ease the transition of new undergraduate students into the academic, social and extracurricular communities of the University. Beginning with the New Student Orientation program over the summer and Winter Welcome, the office aims to help students acclimate to the Hofstra campus and to develop the tools needed to succeed in their first year. Summer orientation is a three-day/two-night program in which new students are invited to live on campus and begin preparation for the fall semester. Students entering Hofstra in the spring semester are invited to attend a two-day Winter Welcome before the beginning of the semester.
The Office of Student Leadership and Activities is your hub for getting involved at Hofstra, so please stop by our office and make the most of your time here at Hofstra.
