Welcome Week 2013 Coordinators
Jennifer Grod
I am a senior studying Broadcast Journalism, with minors in Political Science and Theatre. I was born and raised in New Jersey. At Hofstra, I am the News Director at WRHU-Radio Hofstra University, an active member of Hillel, and Chai Notes (an acapella group). This past semester, I had the opportunity to intern at CBS and this coming fall, I will be interning at WABC. I love the Jersey Shore, New York City, and belting show tunes!
Elysha Johnson
I am a senior studying entrepreneurship at Hofstra. I'm from the beautiful town of Columbia, MD, where you can always find red foxes hiding under your car or deer in your backyard. I am a member of the Student Government Association: Programming Board, where I help to plan and implement exciting activities for the student body. I love sunny days, Netflix, and all things Martha Stewart.
"Batson" Xiang Li
I am a Sophomore Drama major in acting and costume designing, also trying to become a fashion designer. I'm very proud of my creativity, imagination and persistent work showing both of them. Born in a small city in China, my family moved to US at my age of 16 and so far I am embracing both cultures and languages. I'm obsessed with music, plays and fashion, and working to be successful. In my spare time, I'm also a gamer, a fan of all genre movies, and a history nerd. Besides my classes and art work, I am also a member of the Spectrum players. But even when I'm not alone, I still look for inspirations in both fantasy and real world and enjoy every bit of the most mundane daily life.

Each incoming class is assigned one of the four class colors (red, yellow, blue, green) that are rotated every four years. The Class of 2017 class color is yellow! The image of the lion on the class flag is taken from the original design found on the Hofstra Gonfalons. Keep an eye out for the Class of 2017 flag at class events during the next four years.
