Up until what date can I make a change of program with no fee? Tues., September 7
I am a new student registering for the first time. When is the last date that I can register to avoid the $300 late registration fee? Tues., September 7
When does the $25 change of program fee begin? Wed., September 8
When is the last day to DROP a course? Note: The amount of the tuition refund is dependent on the date of withdrawal. Please see the Refund of Tuition Schedule at http://www.hofstra.edu/tuitionrefund. Also, nonattendance does not constitute as a withdrawal. Undergraduates: September 23

Graduates: September 30
When will I receive a 'W' for withdrawing from a course? Note: Students who withdrew officially or unofficially from one or more courses after the first week of the semester, or equivalent for courses shorter than 15 weeks, will be liable for all or part of the tuition and fees associated with these courses. The amount of the tuition refund is dependent on the date of withdrawal. Please see the Refund of Tuition Schedule at http://www.hofstra.edu/tuitionrefund. Also, nonattendance does not constitute as a withdrawal. Undergraduates: September 24

Up until what date can I register to avoid any late registration fees? May 31 - for continuing students

September 7 - for ALL New and Graduate students
When do the late registration fees begin? $100 - Tues., June 1 - for continuing students

$200 - Tues., August 3 - for continuing students

$300 - Wed., September 8 - for ALL New and Graduate students
When is the absolute last day to register or add a class? Note: Unregistered students who remain in courses will not be allowed to register after this deadline and will forfeit any "credits/grades" that they feel they are entitled to by virtue of attending the courses in question. Wed., September 22
When is the deadline to file an application for graduation as a December candidate? Fri., October 1
Failure to file by this day may result in your name being omitted from the commencement program.
When do the late graduation filing fees begin for December graduation? Graduates filing after October 1 = $25

Undergraduates filing after May 1 = $25

Undergraduates filing after October 1 = $50
When is the last day to file a Pass/D+/D/Fail form with the Office of Academic Records?

Graduates: Through the last day of classes prior to the start of final exams.
When is the last day I can completely withdraw (withdraw from ALL of my courses)? Note: Students who withdraw officially or unofficially from one or more courses after the first week of the semester, or equivalent for courses shorter than 15 weeks, will be liable for all or part of the tuition and fees associated with these courses.
