There are many ways to promote your organization and connect with talented Hofstra University students. If you are interested in any of the following opportunities or have other ideas, please contact The Career Center at 516-463-6060.
Information Sessions and Industry Presentations
Employers are invited to make presentations as a way to educate students about the many careers available within their industry and organization. Employers may have the opportunity to host their own company information session, speak as part of a formal panel discussion or work with the Career Center staff, faculty and/or student organization to arrange a visit for the purposes of an industry presentation.
Mock Interviews and Resume Critiques
Throughout the year employers are invited to campus to conduct resume critiques and practice interviews with students. These sessions are a great way to further develop your organization’s brand on campus, meet students, and help students learn important career preparation skills.
Each year organizations act as corporate sponsors at our events. Your organization’s name will be included in event advertising, and you may have the option to have representatives present at the event.
With approval, The Career Center is happy to arrange a table for your organization to meet students in our Student Center. There is a small fee to reserve a table. Please contact The Career Center if you wish to set up a table.
