NACE Principles of Conduct

The Hofstra University Career Center seeks to connect with employers to maximize recruiting results and assist students in making informed career decisions. To accomplish this goal, we have developed employer policies to ensure the process be fair for all employers and student participants.
 
The Hofstra University Career Center welcomes all employers to post their listings for full-time, part-time, seasonal, summer and internship on our PRIDE-CMS system.  This system is FREE and is available 24/7 via the University Portal to Students and Employers.
 
The Career Center welcomes employers with salaried (non-commission positions) to participate in our formal On-Campus Recruiting Program and Job Fairs.   Sales positions with at least a base salary of $30,000 for at least one year (without commission) can participate in on-campus recruiting and Job Fairs.
 
We welcome sales commission positions and third party employers to post positions on our Pride Career Management System (On-line Job Database). Commission-based positions and third-party employers are excluded from our On-Campus Recruiting Program and Job Fairs.
