Sports Clubs

The Sports Clubs program is organized by students and overseen by the Student Government Association and Recreation Department. Just like all other clubs within the University, new sport clubs can be added at anytime. Anyone interested in joining a sports club, or starting a new one, should call the Recreation Center Office at (516) 463-6958.

Hofstra Club Baseball
The Hofstra Club Baseball team started in Fall 2006 and plays a competitive level of baseball in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA). The seasons consist of 25 to 30 games during the spring and fall semesters, on both weekdays and weekends. Examples of schools in the NCBA are Rider, NYU and Rutgers. Hofstra Club Baseball competes with many other schools in non-conference play.

Please take a look at the team web site: hofstraclubbaseball.googlepages.com.
