We encourage our employers to clearly state the type/and or level of compensation/benefits and timing of pay/probationary periods when promoting/posting a job or internship to our candidates.
Commission Only Compensation
We request that employers offering opportunities with compensation packages based exclusively on commission or fees/percentage of sales state this fact in all materials provided to students both online and on campus and in job postings via the Pride-Career Management System.
Compensation Guidelines for Interns and New Hires
For guidelines on compensation standards for both interns and new hires, we encourage employers to look at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2012 Guide to Compensation for Interns & Co-ops and the NACE report “Average Starting Salary for Grads with Bachelor’s Degrees Rises 5.3%”
