Students in all majors have the opportunity to be selected and interviewed by employers on campus. The Career Center facilitates two types of on campus interview programs.

Pride Recruiting
Pride Recruiting is an on-campus interview program held both fall and spring semester that brings first-round interviews to you! Through Pride Recruiting, graduating students, December 2011, May 2012 and August 2012, can interview at The Career Center for full-time post-graduation employment. Underclassman interested in internships, are also encouraged to participate. To participate in this program, students must first attend a mandatory Pride Recruiting Orientation, and then a Interview to Impress workshop and a mock interview. Education Recruitment Program
The Education Recruitment Program is an interview event, where students have the opportunity to apply and be pre-selected for interviews by local and out-of-state school districts, private schools, and charter schools.  Schools will be looking to pre-select students for interviews for a variety of certified teaching, administrative and counseling-related positions for the 2012-2013 school year.  This is a benefit of undergraduate and graduate students’ FINAL year at Hofstra; December 2011, May 2012 and August 2012 Hofstra graduates are eligible.  Eligible students must attend a mandatory Education Recruitment Orientation Session.
