School District Recruiting
The Education Recruitment Program is a one-day on campus interview event where both Long Island and NYC School District representatives will be seeking candidates for a variety of certified teaching and counseling related positions for the upcoming school year. Another feature of this program is a one-day interview event where out-of-state and upstate (NYS) district representatives will interview candidates at a local Long Island college. In order to participate in this program, you must be in your FINAL academic year of study at Hofstra University and will be receiving state certification to practice in a public school.
To become a part of this program, eligible students must attend a mandatory Education Recruitment Orientation session. Once you attend a session, you will be granted access to apply on-line to a list of participating districts. Districts will then select who they want to interview as part of the Hofstra On-Campus Interview Day, or as part of the Out-of-State/NYS Upstate Interview Day. The Education Recruitment Program is a FREE program to eligible Hofstra students. For more detailed information and dates - click here: Education Recruitment
