Why is it important to know your learning style?

We each have our preferred ways of taking in, processing, and retaining information. For example, you may understand or remember information better when you SEE it, or HEAR about it, or TALK about it, or DO something with it.

One of the most effective ways to get better grades - and really learn the material, too - is to a) know your learning style, and b) study in ways that match it.
