Diplomas

Applications for Diplomas for Undergraduates are available on line or in person in the Office of Academic Records located in Memorial Hall. Applications for Graduates may be printed out from the web and either faxed or submitted in person to Academic Records. Every candidate for graduation must file this Graduation Application in the Office of Academic Records by the following deadlines:

Undergraduate Candidates:

For May Graduation: Candidates must file by October 1. If the application is received after October 1, there is a $25 fee. If the application is received later than March 1, there is a $50 fee.

For August Graduation: Candidates must file by March 1. If the application is received after March 1, there is a $25 fee. If the application is received later than August 15, there is a $50 fee.

For December Graduation: Candidates must file by May 1. If the application is received after May 1, there is a $25 fee. If the application is received after October 1, there is a $50 fee.

*Your name may not appear in the Commencement Program if the application is filed after the second deadline.

Graduate Candidates:

For May Graduation: Candidates must file by March 1. If the application is received later than March 1, there is a $25 fee.

For August Graduation: Candidates must file by June 15 for Summer Session I, July 15 for Summer Session II and August 15 for Summer Session III. If the application is received past the deadline, there is a $25 fee.

For December Graduation: Candidates must file by October 1. If the application is received later than October 1, there is a $25 fee.

The Office of Academic Records, located in Memorial Hall, (516) 463-8000 (Option #2), will notify you when your diploma is ready for pickup.

Diplomas will be available two to three months after commencement
