The transition from high school to college is difficult for many students, but for students with disabilities, it can often present unique challenges. Hofstra’s Summer Jump Start Program is a 2-week program specifically designed for college-bound high school juniors and seniors with documented disabilities.  This intensive instructional day program will emphasize critical college readiness skills such as self-awareness, self-advocacy, time management and organizational tools, as well as independent learning strategies in reading, writing, test-taking and study skills. Useful resources and information about the college search and college application process will also be provided.
