The Faculty Support Center, located in 215 McEwen Hall, is the 'storefront' of Faculty Computing Services. It is a computer lab and production center dedicated to the needs of Hofstra instructors.

The Center features Windows and Macintosh workstations running the latest graphics, audio, video and Internet applications, as well as a variety of scanners, digitizers, printers, and photographic equipment.

The Center has still cameras and a video camera that can be loaned to faculty for instructional materials development.

Full-time staff members and student assistants are always available to answer questions, address techical problems, and cooperate with instructors in the development of their curricula.

Instructors can arrange to meet with the FCS staff to discuss project ideas by calling (516) 463-6894 or by e-mail. You can also stop by the Center during business hours.
