Learning objects are custom-made digital
tools you can use in your courses to drive home important
or difficult concepts. They can contain audio and/or video,
and feature you, another presenter, or simply explanatory
images and sounds.
Two examples of Learning Objects are offered
below. Please take a look and contact
FCS to discuss ways that we can help you create an object
that complements your curriculum and teaching style.
Darwin
and Human Evolution: a sample from lecture material
by Dan Varisco, Professor of Anthropology at Hofstra.
Secret
Worlds: The Universe Within: a one minute journey
from the Milky Way galaxy down to the nucleus of a plant
cell (from Florida State University).
