or later for faster installation, easier maintenance and more stability. |
| How
do I get help? |
| Contact a ResNet Technician by calling the ResNet Office at x3-3000, Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. |
| How
do I know if I'm connected to the network? |
| Go to Start -> Run and type "winipcfg" and check if the
IP Address is filled with numbers. Also hit release and renew, if numbers do not appear, you have lost your connection.
An IP address is a unique string of numbers that
identifies a computer on the Internet. These numbers are usually shown in groups separated by periods, like this: 147.4.12.3. All resources on the Internet must have an IP
address--or else they're not on the Internet at all.
