PC Registration

All student machines must be registered before using the Residential Hall network. Hofstra University requires McAfee Enterprise anti-virus and Windows updates before registering your computer on the Hofstra Network. Network registration prevents the spread of viruses and provides improved network performance. The registration process is simple and automatic.

On average, there are 3 to 10 viruses discovered each day!

That means there can possibly be over 300 new viruses discovered each month!
