March 2nd, 2017!
Students from all coding abilities and backgrounds are invited to join us at our Spring 2017 Hack-a-Thon!
This year, we will have two different options to join in on the fun! Refreshments will be served!
Option 1. – All night! 8pm - 8am
Already know how to code?
Assemble a team (of no larger than 4!) and create an application in your language of choice that benefits the Hofstra community or simply does something cool.
Teams must stay the night and develop their project on any platform (computer, mobile device, web-based, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) to create any type of application, be it virtual, physical (such as a robot), or otherwise!
Teams will present their work on Friday, March 3rd at 8am to a panel of judges. The judging rubric can be found here. Each member of the team gets a prize. Prizes will be posted soon!
Do you want to learn more about coding?
Stations will be set up for students to expand their knowledge in any or all of the following:
There will be door prizes!
