The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Hofstra University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in the fall of 2017.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a recognized record of published works of fiction in the Spanish language, a strong commitment to and experience in language teaching, as well as an earned doctorate in Latin American literature and culture. Experience in teaching creative writing courses preferred. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in an educational environment.
