Hofstra University

Academic Records

The Office of Academic Records is responsible for maintaining all academic records pertaining to every undergraduate and graduate student at the University.

Undergraduate Records

Undergraduate Records, located in Room 207 Memorial Hall, helps those undergraduate students who are not in their semester of graduation. This office will help with issues such as changing personal/academic information and questions about their degree audit. The degree audit is a student's roadmap to graduation. It enables a student to plan each semester's schedule accordingly, so that upon graduation all program requirements have been met. Please go to Hofstra's degree audit page for more information. Once a student reaches senior class standing, they should submit their Application for Graduation to our office. This application is available on the portal and the web, or you may fill out an application in our office. For your convenience, many of the forms needed by this office are available on the Hofstra website. Simply choose the form you need from the list of printable forms and fax or mail it back to our office.

Graduate Records

Graduate Records, located in Room 207 Memorial Hall, helps graduate students with all aspects of their academic records as well as changes to personal information. Since degree audits are not available at this time, graduate students are encouraged to check with their program director to ensure all requirements have been completed. If ALL requirements have been fulfilled and the student wishes to graduate, the student MUST apply for graduation as a candidate by filling out a Graduation Application in Room 207 Memorial Hall. If a student lacks up to 6 credits going into commencement, the student may fill out a Graduation Application as a participant. For your convenience, many of the forms needed by this office are available on the Hofstra website. Simply choose the form you need from the list of printable forms and fax or mail it back to our office.
