Hofstra in Mali, Wet Africa
January 5-23, 2009

Program Cost

The registration fee of $2,595 covers tuition and fees for a three credit course. The program fee of $4,750 includes round-trip airfare, transfers, hotel accommodations, river cruise, meals for each day that we are in Mali (breakfasts, lunches and dinners), all travel within Mali, and English-speaking guides. Within Mali, land travel is by air-conditioned bus and water travel by a comfortable motorized boat. Hotel accommodations in cities and large towns are double rooms (with private bath) in modern, air-conditioned Western-style hotels. The river trip is done with tents and mattresses.

Class size is limited. A $400 deposit will ensure a place in the program and must accompany the completed application form. The deadline for completed application and the $400 deposit is Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Please bring your completed application, $400 deposit and necessary forms to the HCLAS Study Abroad Office in 300 Calkins Hall. The program fee quoted above is subject to change. Tuition and fees are subject to change. There will be no refunds after December 4, 2008.
