Admissions Requirements
Applicants for matriculated or non-matriculated study must present evidence of a baccalaureate degree. A complete application includes the following:
- Writing Sample
(can be a graded undergraduate paper or a letter of intellectual intent if the undergraduate degree was received within four years of the date of application.)
- 1-2 letters of recommendation from professors for candidates who fit the above description); for all other candidates, 1-2 letters of recommendation from someone who has known the candidate in a professional capacity (e.g. an employer or a colleague in a volunteer organization)
- GREs are recommended for all candidates who are considering going on to earn a Ph.D. after completing this program. Although they are not required as part of the candidate's application to the CAAC program, they are taken into consideration in decisions on admittance.
- An interview either by phone or in person is required.
