Career Potential

Global Studies is an exciting new inter-disciplinary minor and major. The world is increasingly integrated, a process known as "Globalization." Conventional university majors are unsuited to best understand this dynamic process, which blurs traditional departmental boundaries. This is where the new inter-disciplinary program in Global Studies comes in. It gives students the breadth of course offerings to help make sense of the complex world you will encounter once you graduate. This training, coupled with a traditional minor/major, will make you a very attractive candidate for employment in multiple fields, such as banking, teaching, government, international business, film, journalism, media and global institutions.
