Philosophy Club
The Hofstra Philosophy Club is a student organization devoted to discussing philosophical issues and having fun. Among the topics recently discussed are the nature of love, the possibility of artificial intelligence, when political revolutions are justified, and various philosophical questions arising from movies and television. Guest faculty from Hofstra and other universities have discuss their research with the Club.
Meetings normally take place in our department's lounge in the middle of the first floor of Heger Hall. Please e-mail one of the contacts below to find out about the next meeting. Everyone is welcome.
