Curriculum
Medical Physics, M.S.
Program Requirements: Presently 50 s.h. with a requested revision to 39 s.h. underway.
The program includes foundational courses whose contents include human anatomy, clinical medical physics, ethics, professional issues and professionalism, radiation physics and dosimetry, radiation protection and radiation safety, radiation biology, imaging in medicine, nuclear medicine, and radiation-therapy physics.
Advanced courses include imaging II, therapy physics II, practicums in radiation protection, nuclear medicine, medical imaging, radiation therapy, and research and/or approved electives.
